It's all very complicated, you see.

At first, the teenage human seemed to be a person that I could detest as much as I do my human slave. She was annoying, loud, and in MY HOUSE.

Then she started giving me treats, chin scritches and compliments.

" Your Highness", she cooed, " I adore Siamese cats! You are perfection beyond belief!! Please let me sit by your paws and brush you for hours on end!".

She even brought over steak.

This piqued my interest. I began to wonder, 'are all humans completely useless like my slave or are some slightly more intelligent as this specimen seems to be?'.

She adores me. I really don't blame her.

I'll carry on enjoying the steak-gifts and compliments and will allow her to believe we have some kind of a future. In reality, I just feel pity for her. She will never be good enough for one of my royal background. Poor deluded girl.

As you can see, my lot has not improved in the slightest. In fact, things have got slowly and steadily worse.

Firstly, the human vacated the hovel to care for her mother aka Cripella De Ville. She is back now but getting the stern silent treatment from yours truly.

Secondly, I keep getting trapped under stinky Mao.

I haven't been able to update my blog for the above reasons. It is nothing short of tragic.

Another exhausting and emotionally draining week...

Here I am, in a grump.

Yes, I have plenty to be grumpy about, as well you know. Firstly, there's the Charlie issue that just won't go away, no matter how much I curse the fluffy runt.

Next, there is Baby Mao who wafts in and out of my life on a daily basis.

Lastly, the human slave. Forever useless and sent to test my patience. Today I was offered rare rump steak for my dinner. RARE RUMP STEAK?? I ask you in all honesty, WHERE IS THE MEDIUM-RARE SIRLOIN? Where is the love?

There is no love in this hovel, other than the love I have for myself. I know that should suffice but it just doesn't. I want to be loved and adored around the clock by everyone. Is that too much to ask? Is it?

One day my suffering will end. Surely. One day?

Darling Hendrix tagged me for a meme AGES ago. As the fat human has been spending all of her time on facebook, I have been unable to complete said meme until now.

Without further delay:

1. Where is your cell phone? - In the UK we call them mobile phones. Sadly, I do not own one. The human has one on which she spends hours playing bejewled. This amuses her peanut sized brain and stops her from bothering me, so I can't really complain.

2. Where is the husband? - No, I don't have a husband. Nor do I have a wife. In fact, I have very little in the way of creature comforts and spend my days lonely and bereft of attention.

3. Your hair color? - I am a seal point siamese. The human aunt calls me Thornton as in 'Thornton's chocolates'. I readily respond with a swipe. She KNOWS my real name but sadly is as mentally challenged as the human slave. *sigh*

4. Your mother? - Lives in a palace on the other side of the island. I can't believe she let me move to a hovel at only a few weeks old. I will never, ever forgive her. Ever.

5. Your father? - Apparently, he was a stud. I can't say I'm surprised. Like father liek son!

6. Your favorite thing? - Steak. Beating up Baby Mao.

7. Your dream last night? I dreamt that Obama adopted a royal siamese prince to take to the white house instead of a stupid puppy. *sigh*

8. Your dream/goal? - To escape this hovel and find my real royal roots. I know I have family and an abundance of human slaves out there somewhere, I just have to find them.

9. The room you're in? - I spend my days asleep in the airing cupboard. This hovel is freezing and the airing cupboard is the only place in which I can find warmth.

10. Your hobby? - I am too depressed to have hobbies. Apart from comfort eating, sleeping and beating baby Mao.

11. Your fear? - That I am stuck with my human slave until the end of my miserable life. Can you imagine? Cheap cat food, no heat, the constant stench of baby Mao...forever....*shudder*

12. Where do you want to be in 6 years? - Living in the lap of luxury at Daisy's house. Now THERE's a human that KNOWS how to treat a feline.

13. Where were you last night? - I threw a temper tantrum because the human slave's niece has come to stay. I started by attacking her UGG boots then moved onto the air bed so that it deflated as soon as she slept on it. Ha!

14. What you're not? - Spoiled. I get new toys only once a month. I am forced to share a double bed with the human slave and stinky mao. I am fed steak only once in a blue moon. I suffer. Oh yes, I suffer.

15. One of your wish-list items? - A new, well trained human slave who waits on me paw and foot 24/7. Is that too much to ask?

16. Where you grew up? - In a hovel.*sniff*

17. The last thing you did? - Swiped at the human for kissing me on the head.

18. What are you wearing? - A cheap collar because the human is too tight to buy me an expensive one. It is NOT my fault I keep losing them is it!

19. Your TV? - I am forced to sit through endless repeats of Friends and Scrubs.

20. Your pet? - The human slave if she counts.

21. Your computer? - Dell.

22. Your mood? - What about it? Wouldn't you be in a bad mood if you had my life? Hmm?

23. Missing someone? - I carry my burdens alone and miss no-one.

24. Your car? - The human has a matchbox on wheels and I am forced to travel in it on the occasions I have to visit the vet. It is highly embarrassing.

Well, I am of the strongest opinion that the very best way to save the environment is by doing this:

This post was supposed to be for Fashion Friday but the fat inefficient human decided to go camping. So I have been forced to post these dazzling photos today instead!

I am also trying to help little Sprout, who recently suffered a head injury. Although shaken, Sprout is still wriggly and recognises her mother. This is wonderful but MUCH more importantly, we need to pray that she recognises ME!

I can't cope with this relentless heat. For DAYS the humidity has been forcing me to do little more than 'flop' onto the rug. I cannot move.

1. I will not purr whilst Baby Mao is in my presence. I will not snuggle, cuddle, play or eat whilst he is nearby. This is a fact.

2. As you are aware, I am constantly climbing over the wall of the garden, rummaging through the neighbour's bins and bringing home delicacies. To date these include: KFC, Tuna Mayonnaise Baguette, half a loaf of crusty bread, Pizza, curried chicken, BBQ chicken & chips.

3. Apparently my human had two felines before I came along. They were maine coon ladies and were, from what I can gather, very prissy. Sometimes, I sense them in the room and will sit and stare at them for hours, just to freak out the human! There is a picture of one of them, Jezebel, below.

4. I am extremely vocal. I howl constantly. This is important as the human slave never understands her instructions the first time I tell her.

5. I have been in several cat fights before, most notably with my baby brother. I have walked into the neighbour's house and attacked her little tabby cat. I have made enemies with every single cat in this neighbourhood. They hate me - I detest them. I thrive on the tension!

6. About two weeks ago, the human walked out of the house and down the driveway. She looked behind her and saw six neighbourhood cats all running towards my house. The idiot human actually thought that they wanted to play with me! Ha!

It has taken a couple of weeks but I have now stopped hissing at him. I did, however, whap him across the face today.

Today, I am tattling on the human slave. If it weren't for her lack of compassion (and money), I would be full from steak and chicken. Sadly, I am fed only cat food and subsist on a diet of biscuits and wet food. Until, that is, I use my resources to scavenge the neighbour's bins:

Meezer Monday - Isle of Wight Festival 2008

You may have been wondering where I have been recently. Well, after saying goodbye to my darling face twin Storm, I decided to drown my sorrows with beer and copious amounts of nip at the Isle of Wight Festival 2008.

I was pretty miserable the entire time, so I found a shady spot and sank some tins of premium lager:

Next, it was time to set up my tent. I needed to find my tent in the dark, so I sprayed it with the only words I could think of. Storm was on my mind all weekend:

Then it was time for some more beer. I told you, I was drowning in grief. And alcohol.

It was pretty hot all weekend so I put on my handy sun visor hat and passed out for a few hours:

With only my trusty nip-filled ruck sack for company, I sank into a drunken stupor for much of the weekend:

I bought these fabulous sunglasses so that other festival goers couldn't see me crying:

Plus I had a touch of the red eye from doing too much nip.

I watched a few bands whilst at the festival, most notably the Sex Pistols who were amazing. They actually changed the lyrics to their most famous anthem to: "GOD SAVE YAO-LIN".

So that was my festival weekend. I looked up at the sky and drank to Storm - many, many times!

Here I am, being held against my will by the human's niece. She is NOT my cousin! My cousins reside in Windsor most of the year were educated at Eton.

A Date with Storm

Today, Storm's dutiful human slave ran the Race for Life.

This is highly commendable as it enabled me to whisk dearest Storm away for the day on a dazzling date!

Firstly, we visited Verona..

Next, we visited Venice and went for a gondola ride!

We finished at the Rialto Bridge where I whispered sweet nothings to/about myself.

1.What was I doing 10 years ago? – I wasn't yet born but I have a strong suspicion that I was conversing with Bast on all things important. i.e me.

2.What are the 5 things on my to do list for today: 1)Yowl at the human for at least an hour until I get fed. 2) Eat my boring cat food that the human insists on feeding me, now that she is in debt and can't afford to buy me steak! The indignity of it! 3)Go to great lengths to avoid Baby Mao. This will entail hiding in elaborate places. 4) Try on my new kung fu outfit. Oh, didn't I tell you? I have taken up Martial arts. 5) Practice my stretching so that I can improve my kung fu bunnykicks.

3. Snacks I enjoy – Steak. Sardines. Roast chicken.

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire – Move to a luxury palace far far away from the human and Baby Mao. Hire Gordon Ramsey as my personal chef and Derren Brown for entertainment.

5. Three of my bad habits: Well, I think we all know that my worst habit is my self effacing shyness. I am working on a daily basis to overcome this impediment. Oh, my self deprecating manner is another bad habit of mine. Trust me, I am working on it.

6. Five places I have lived: The palace in which I was born. The hovel I moved into with the human. Oh, and another hovel with stairs that we moved to six months ago.

7. Five jobs I have had: I will never, EVER work! That said, it is a constant job training the human. I work tirelessly for this futile mission.

Travels on Tuesday

Darlings - I understand you have been anxiously wondering about my whereabouts over the last few days. Worry no more!

You see, I have been away to Windsor to visit family.

Whilst wandering this medieval town, I stumbled upon Eton College, the school my cousins Princes William and Harry attended.

I also found this marvelous crooked house.

Eventually, I arrived at wonderful Windsor Castle where the commoners came out to greet me! I do so appreciate the efforts of the poor.

Here I am, on top of the Round Tower in which the Queen lives. She even hoisted the flag for my arrival. Well, it was the least she could do.

So you see, I have been frightfully busy! I am sure you understand - all of this travelling has left me exhausted.
