Today, I am tattling on the human slave. If it weren't for her lack of compassion (and money), I would be full from steak and chicken. Sadly, I am fed only cat food and subsist on a diet of biscuits and wet food. Until, that is, I use my resources to scavenge the neighbour's bins:
Saturdays menu: half a tuna-mayo baguette. 
And in case you were wondering, I shared with my little brother. 
One must look after oneself when the the human slave is lacking in funds. And brains.

Oh my Bast, what is this world coming to when Yao-lin has to scrounge in the neighbors trash to find food! You know friend, you and Baby Mao are more than welcome to live here.
OH Yao-lin......don't you know that onions are very poison to cats? I applaud you scavenging and sharing skills but at least lick around them OK?

Yao-lin, you must teach me how to scavenge like you or I too shall starve. My Mummy is having a big needle in her shoulder in a few hours and Dad (who is a far, far worse cook than your slave) is in charge of meals for the next few days! That's it I'll be reduced to skin and bone and wither from lack of Mummy's special belly rubs... This is why D'boy is on your Island you know, he wanted to put a few miles between himself and Dad's cooking! ;)

Stay away from the onions, they're bad for you, and that mayo is probably bad, too. I think you should start pulling food off your slave's plate when she's eating!

P.S. I love that James Blunt song you quoted for Stormie. It always brings a tear to my eye when I hear it but thinking of Storm as I read the words made me cry all over again. She was a very special cat.
If D'boy has spent his money on steak he can bring some home for me too Yao-lin as I'm sure we're on short rations with Dad feeding us! ;) Well that and I just love a little steak to chew on and I've only had one lot this week... Maybe he could buy me a chicken too?! I think I'll have to look very pleased he's back on Friday evening to stand much of a chance though. ;)
