Meezer Monday

Greetings, subjects!

Today I must offer my sincerest gratitude to the Cat Realm for sending me this fabulous gas mask!

Guaranteed to protect my royal nose from even the most vile odours, I can at last relax in my millie bed without retching when a certain cat enters the room!

Surely, this is the most fantastic invention in the entire blogosphere?

Well, it is for me anyway!

St Georges Day

Today, we celebrate St George's day in England.

I am partaking of my own celebration, by wearing this stylish Knight's outfit

Complete with a sword!

Admittedly, I do not have a real dragon to sleigh but I DO have an inept human slave who has serious dragons breath.

So you see, we all have our own battles and should draw our inspiration from where we can.

New Auction Item

Are you fed up with the April showers? Well, worry no more - simply place a bid on this stylish raincoat/waistcoat. As well as being completely waterproof, this elegant piece could make the scruffiest kitty look dapper when strolling around the neighbourhood.

It is light enough to be worn around the house and loose enough so as not to disrupt any bunnykicking activities you might indulge in. The waistcoat has velcro tabs along the front for maximum comfort.

Please leave your bids in the comments. Once again, all proceeds to go direct to Mum Laura!

I will email the winning bidder with paypal details etc.

This item is available for auction until midnight on Wednesday 23rd April 2008 - so get your bids in quick!

Sunday, 20 April 2008

Following the devastating fire at Lilly Lu's home, I have decided to auction some items with all proceeds donated directly to Lilly Lu/her human.

Being in the public eye is hard. One cannot be seen in the same outfit twice. With that in mind, the first item I should like to auction is this stunning regal ensemble:

Don't be distracted by the beautiful siamese cat modelling these items - you are actually bidding on this red velvet cardigan.

With a matching crown!

Purchased recently and worn only once, this item really is striking!

So, who will be the highest bidder? I can almost HEAR you all scrambling to hit the paypal button! Before you do,some things to note:

I am a BIG cat! So needless to say, this cardi might swamp some of our smaller feline friends. That said, if you are as egotistical as I am, the crown will fit your large head just fine. Also, it ties up around the waist area. Just not around MY waist.

Leave a comment to let me know how much you have bid. I will email the highest bidder at the end of the auction to arrange payment to the relevant paypal account. That said, you can find the donate link below which will send funds directly to Lily Lu/ Mum Laura should you be so inclined.

This auction item will be available until Monday 20/04/2008.

The item will be dispatched via airmail, first class from the UK. I will email you as soon as the parcel has been dispatched.

I really want to auction my baby brother but apparently I am not 'allowed'. Whatever. He wouldn't make much money anyway.

All proceeds to go direct to Mum Laura.

Happy bidding!

Breaking News on Friday

Here is an article published today in the UK news:

Isle-whiff invades England

A vile stench that has invaded southern England has been blamed on industrial and farming smells from the Isle of Wight.

Dubbed "Isle-whiff" by the Met Office, the source of the odour is currently being probed.

Sarah Holland from the Met Office said it has received many calls from members of the public.

The smell has been detected as far west as Devon.

"Basically, over the last few days, we've had fresh, strong winds from a southerly direction," said Miss Holland.

Miss Holland added that while members of Met Office staff were attempting to trace the exact source of the "atmospheric aroma", the likely explanation was most likely agricultural or industrial works on the Island.

"Normally, our winds are westerly, coming off the Atlantic Ocean, which bring little or no pollution with them."

Some of the most pungent odours have been reported in the Ryde, Isle of Wight area, with other reports of a stench in Portsmouth.

One Isle of Wight resident told MSN News today she noticed the stench as soon as she stepped out the door this morning.

"It was horrible," she said of the air. "This nasty stench just hit me."

Southern Water say the smell is not related to water or sewage works.

Tattle Tail Tuesday

When sending memos to work colleagues, it is best to refrain from signing off with 'affectionate purrs'. Also, when sending emails to work friends, you should avoid using phrases like 'paws crossed'.

You are the laughing stock of the building.

Yours, AMAZED you ever found gainful employment,

Five Sensashuns Meme

Wonderful Zoolatry tagged me to commence a monumental meme!

With my beautiful eyes I do not want to see...Baby Mao in my millie bed. Ever.

With my soft nose I can smell.....REALLY? YOU HAVE TO ASK!!!!!

With my velvet paws I do not like to touch the litter tray after Baby Mao has used it. You cannot blame me.

With my sharp ears I can hear the sound of gassy emissions from another nameless feline. It is repulsive.

With my sandpaper tongue, I can taste victory for Siamese Cats worldwide. Meezer world domination will soon be upon us. The revolution has begun.

I would like to tag the following cats:

Frootbat Friday

Greetings, subjects...

After last Sundays traumatic experience in the snow, I have spent the week hiding in the bedroom.

Of course, I have insisted that the human turn on the electric blanket. A wonderful device - invented by and for felines - it emits a perfect heat across the entire bed allowing your Royal Highness to stay wonderfully warm and toasty at all times.

Can you hear that? It's the sigh of relief ringing out across the cat blogosphere. Bless you all.

If your human has not yet purchased an electric blanket, I would urge you to demand one.

Have a lovely weekend everyone! Mine will at least be warm although that is no consolation for the food in this hovel.

Meezer Tributes on Monday

My adoring and wonderful fans over at Zoolatry created this contraption for ME:

It is really very clever. Here is what Maggy & Zoey said about their new invention:

As our gift to you, we are sending you one of our patented and registered "Brain Wave Enhancers" (be careful... it is activated in this picture).

As a special bonus, we also gifting you with the "Magical Protective Collar".

Caution: These can be hazardous to the health of other cats and humans.

Your new BWE will allow you to transfer all important brain wave messages to your lowly human and the poo-baby, so they will follow your every command.

Your new MPC will protect you against any inadvertent receipt of transfers from unwanted other persons.

Wear in good health!

Well, I have been wearing my new Brain Wave Enhancer for days but so far have had little siuccess with the human. I think it would work if the slave actually had a brain. That said, she grunted something about steak and peas today so I think we may have progress.

Do you think Zoolatry could create a functioning brain for my human? I mean, they are exceptionally clever cats after all!

Snow = Treason

Who did it? Who arranged for SNOW to fall on MY PREMISES? IT'S APRIL FOR BAST'S SAKE!

Heads will roll for this. I am positively FUMING!

Yours, giving the silent treatment to the human for forcing me out in such inclement weather,

Frootbat Friday

Today's Frootbat Friday is a matter of clarification. Some of my adoring fans saw my photo on Wednesday and commented that Baby Mao now looks bigger than me.

They are mistaken. Wednesdays photo was a mere optical illusion. A trick of the light. A trick of the eye.

The following photo shows the exact difference between the runt and I:

I am very glad to have clarified this important issue. As you can see, I am a hundred times the size of my baby brother. And proud of it.

Snuggly Tuesday

Ah..sometimes it is lovely to snuggle with your baby brother. Especially when you love him as much as I do.

Incase you hadn't noticed, I was actually pushing Baby Mao away with my hind leg. Also, notice the extended claws.
