Today is my birthday. I am three regal years old.
You probably can't tell, but this is me smiling with sheer joy: 
Ok, that is a blatant lie. I am merely licking my lips from the sirloin steak dutifully served by the human slave. 
She even cooked the steak correctly for once. I almost passed out from the shock!
Sadly, I still had to put up with Baby Mao today. Maybe next year the human will lock him out for the day. Here's hoping!

Happy Birthday Yao-lin, we were sure you were being well fed when we didn't find you at our door yesterday, ready for some home cooked beef brisket! So we celebrated by eating your share of it too, then spent the evening watching the kittens wobble around. It was most amusing if not a night on the tiles! ;)

I'm glad you got steak on your Birthday Yao-lin, although the brisket and gravy we had that day was very good and I think you'd have enjoyed it too! :) Yesterday we had nicely roasted pork and gravy too, even the kittens thought it smelt nice and BG was later found trying to lick a gravy spash off of Mummy's t-shirt when she went for a cuddle. I don't think I'll have any trouble getting that little girl to eat her meat in a few weeks time when I wean them onto it! ;)
Oh and my last kittens are also celebrating their Birthday, so it just goes to show many great cats have birthdays around this time fo year! ;)
