Greetings, subjects...
After last Sundays traumatic experience in the snow, I have spent the week hiding in the bedroom.
Of course, I have insisted that the human turn on the electric blanket. A wonderful device - invented by and for felines - it emits a perfect heat across the entire bed allowing your Royal Highness to stay wonderfully warm and toasty at all times.
Can you hear that? It's the sigh of relief ringing out across the cat blogosphere. Bless you all.
If your human has not yet purchased an electric blanket, I would urge you to demand one.
Have a lovely weekend everyone! Mine will at least be warm although that is no consolation for the food in this hovel.
Ta ta for now

And would you enjoy an air mattress to go with? They can be a bit noisy, but are awfully "cushiony"...
Sorry, we must have missed your Book MeMe. Actually, we are looking for someone to start a new MeMe; so we will email it to you... you seem to be an appropriate wit to start the ball rolling, at least for all the
NOTs, DON'Ts, and NEVERs that can be part of it. So, check your mail box Oh Elegant One.
WELL...have I got something to share with YOU!!! The in-house geriatrics are constantly waging Heating Pad Wars, '08, around here. They discovered that sleeping on a small, hot piece of fabric is exciting.
SO...my godmother ordered them a Cat Pod. Google it! They are afraid of it! Won't go near it.
I LOVE IT.
The spoils to the victor, or something like that.
It's also a travel case if you put the lid on, and you can make your human plug it in to the auto fag lighter (is that what you call it over there?) to keep you toasty warm in transit.
AND, the furry lining is black so not only can you not see me when I'm in it, you will not even notice BM's "deposits". By sight, anyway.
Everhelpfully yours,
Annie
I am very honored that I'm growing on you, Yao-lin. I have a lot of respect for you. But I'm not sure if I like that I remind you of Baby Mao. I don't know how to take that. Because I don't stink. :)
Your loyal fan,
Titus
Happy weekend to you and your electric blanket!
I am glad you managed to get your human to turn on you 'lectric blanket. However, after ready baby Mao's post, I must pity you, being trapped in the same house with that creature. I believe someone needs to start a cross-dress anonymous group.
Yao-lin! Yao-lin! We have our electric blanket!! And it will be on non stop for two weeks as She is on holidays!!! Woo hoo!
I heard Meowm say something about an electric blanket one time...but I don't think I have actually seen one!
I am glad you are at least staying warm!
I'm with you Yao-lin - I insist my Mum plug in the Electric Blanket if it even gets mildly chilly.
I hope you have a good weekend slumbering beneath your toasty warm electric blanket.
We don't have an electric blanket, but if it's cold, we hog the woodburner. I try to get my head right unnerneath sometimes. Mum sez one day I'll boil my brains. Have a warm weekend wiv hopefully no snow.
Eric
If only my human would actually get one but you see she thinks the electrical stuff isn't good energy to sleep under.
Wait...so you mean you don't have to force your human slave to warm the bed for you? I just wait every night until she's been there like 10 minutes and then I dive in for the snuggle. I think I NEED an electric blanket!
Kaze
Yao-lin, we are in the Deep South, GA. If we used an electric blanket, we'd be frickasee cats. Not good. We're very glad you got yours though! Enjoy it to the fullest!
Wow, how could they not have had that already prepared for you?!
Please be our guest at the Ritz Carlton in NY.. we will provide a heating blanket, all the ham and tuna you desire and a fountain of nip-tinis!
You should not be made to suffer.
xoxoxoxo
We are so glad that you keep your human in line, Yao-Lin! Royalty such as yourself should be catered to hand and foot!
Purrs and headbutts,
Sabrina, Sam and Simon
Oh wowie, Yao-lin, an elecktrick blankie sounds FABYOOLUS. We Ballicai will have to demand one frum our Momma. Me and Dorydoo would speshully love a warm blankie like that cuz we got the shortest furs!
Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
We get a hot water bottle once in awhile that's it.
The PM doesn't "believe" in electric blankets. Please, what a cop out, she's just too cheap!
~Goldie
I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm sure I'd like one! Great picture of you demanding it be turned on!
Actually, we have 2 heated cat cups. Bow lufs them because he is getting on in years and has arthritis and such.
Luf, Us
Oh boy. I better not let our cats see this. They don't have an electric heating blanket. But neither do I or their Daddy. Am I really supposed to go out and buy one just for their use??
