Yao-lin I think Surrey is in Vancouver British Columbia, however I lived in Vancouver, Washington, which is near Portland, OR. Maya Angelou made the same mistake. She had a lovely 10 minute dialogue with us when she talked out the local community college there about the confusion!
So you can't blame your human too much for faulty information. I think you really have had live there to know where it is...
