Moody Meezer Monday

Don't be fooled. I am actually sulking in these pictures.

In between the new chav neighbours, Baby Mao's ridiculous fight for territory and the humans' moving all my things around, I am getting thoroughly pi**ed off.

The female scooped me up in her arms today. I responded by swiping her with my claw. She should know better than to approach me when I am in a bad mood.

Oh, incidentally, I think some of my recent comments concerning my neighbours may have been construed as slightly offensive. It was not my intention to offend any cats and I would be grateful if you would take a moment to reflect on the following statement that I have today issued to the British Catarazzi.

" Please be aware that I, HRH Yao-Lin, hold no prejudice towards fat cats, ginger cats or tabby cats. Just because my neighbours are all three and can also be described as fat chavs, I could never be so ignorant as to tar my blogging friends with the same brush. Bring me your fat cats, your tabby cats and your ginger cats. I will embrace you all. Just keep the smelly fat chavs away from me".

Thank you.

HRH Yao-Lin x

Yao-lin you are as regal as ever in your sulkiness. We are glad you do not consider us chavs. Loyal subjects, okay, but not chavs.

I am sorry you are a little bit crabby today, Yao-Lin. I am going to sing you a little song about cheering up, OK?

"Cheer up, Yao-Lin
Give me a smile
What happened to the smile I used to know
Don't you know your grin has always
Been my sunshine;
Let that sunshine show...

Come on, Yao-Lin
No need to frown
Deep down you know tomorrow is your toy..."

You are a wonderful Royal Feline today. I think if it were any cat sitting on your wall you would be miffed because YOU are in charge of your territory. Moving must stink, I can't say I've had to deal with it.

don't werry Yao-Lin - I hadded to make the same statement last year when I complained about my gingercat neighbor that terrorized me on my patio. I doesn't hate Ginger cats (gramma Trixie and grampa norton was gingers and I love them lots) just that partikular ginger kitty. so, I really unnerstand. don't werry, all your blogging furriends knows that you love them. - Sammy

You are to nice of a kitty to ever be cruel. Even when you sulk, you still look nice.

I completely understand. I'm sure the Human Male saying that he wouldn't go visit you while he visits the UK is also upsetting (although don't be--he's not worth it.).

Yao-lin, you make sulky look cool! We didn't take offense, we knew who you were talking about! Moving is always stressful!

Oh Yao-lin,
Don't you wish you could just speak the word "Disappear" and all these troubles could be gone?!

Yao-lin, I completely understand that when you are royalty, every word gets picked apart by the papparazzi!

And I don't blame you for being cranky, moving doesn't sound like fun!

Hopefully while your slaves are sleeping tonight you can move all your things exactly where you want them!

Oh no...if we thought for one second you were mocking fat gingers, we would've taken you to the mat, Sir! Not that we have any (today), or know any (today), but we love them the best. We just thought you were being sufficiently snarky, which we also love in a cat.

Chav
From Wikipedia
Chav or Charv/Charver even Chavster (male) and Chavette (female) ('ch' pronounced as in chair) is a mainly derogatory slang term in the United Kingdom for a subcultural stereotype fixated on fashions derived from American Hip-Hop fashions and stereotypes such as gold jewelery and designer clothing combined with elements of working class British street fashion. Chavs are generally considered to have no respect for society, and to be ignorant or unintelligent. The term appeared in mainstream dictionaries in 2005.

Thank you for teaching us that term!
