Why I Can't Do a Thursday Thirteen

Greetings one and all!!

I am unable to post a great deal today because Baby Mao and I are having MAJOR territorial 'disputes' over the new palace.

That boy just won't listen! It's all supposed to be MINE!!!

Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go and take my 'dispute' all over the house, on every single counter, in each cupboard and all over the new furniture, preferably breaking several ornaments on the way.

Ta ta for now

Uh-oh, doesn't sound like fun. Just don't resort to, um..'marking' what's yours, or it won't be fun for either of you.

But glad you got in safe and sound!

Yao-Lin, we are glad to hear that you are all moved in!
If you need any help to get that Baby Mao in his place I will come over and bite him. I am good at biting! I will even teach a bite seminar at zevo calalmari's place in the fall!

Oh, Yao-lin, I am sorry to hear that you and Baby Mao are having problems determining who owns what. I hope it is resolved quickly and with a minimum of fuss.

Welcome back to blogging!

You mean Baby Mao didn't get lost during the move? That's too bad. Lots of things get lost in moving and no one even notices. Good luck with sorting out what is yours (everything) and what is his (that tiny little patch of tile that no one even knew was there).

Perhaps next week we can hear about 13 of the major battles that you fought and won.

Yao-lin, here is a sekrit da I learned when the other two came here...pick several really good spots and let Baby Mao know that they are yoors. Neffur let him on yoor spots effun if it means interupting a good nap to make him move. I have some of da best spots in da howse and those two would neffur think of touching them!~Zippy

Don't tell Zippy, we sleep on her spots alla time while she's napping or outside 'taking air' as she calls it. She's weekening, she even lets Speedy sleep on da big bed wif her.~Sadie and Speedy

Oh, we are glad that your move is over and you're safe, albeit territorial!

Moving is very hard. I hope you boys can work things out peacefully. If Baby Mao is giving you trouble, here is what you can say to him:
"You're not the boss of me!"

We like Daisy's idea or you can do what I do and bite his neck until he submits. Yao-lin I am so proud that you are famous like you should be!

Does Baby Mao not know of your royal HRH status? Maybe you could get some stickers and put your name on everything so Baby Mao is very clear what is yours, then again, he should just know that EVERYTHING is yours. Mmmm, you have a problem!

Ooo, breaking things is fun. I wish I could help you out there, buddy.

Good to hear you got all moved in Yao-lin. I foresee lots of instructing Baby Mao what is yours and yours alone.

Good Luck in your new home!

I was just over at Baby Mao's bloggie and it sounds like he's trying to take over. I think you are going to have your work cut out for you. Good luck!

Hi, Yao-lin! I'm so glad you're moved in, but I'm sorry to hear you and Baby Mao are having territorial disputes! That certainly can be an issue in a multi-cat household. If all four of us Ballicai moved, I'm sure we'd have things to work out, too, though Brainball would still be the indisputable Alpha Cat -- *giggle*, she's twice as big as any of us, and then there are those combat boots of hers!

It's great to have you back!

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn.
