Did you know that's a Canadian poppy in your graphic, not a British one? My humans were at a Remembrance Day ceremony this morning at one of the Commonwealth War Graves, and all the Brits were commenting on how nice the Canadian poppies were compared to the British ones!

Thank you for posting this on this important day of Remembrance.

we shall not forget any of our brothers and sisters from near, or from afar.

That's a very nice remembrance you made. Today is a good day to reflect and remember our veterans.

Poignant.

We agree with DH that it's a Canadian poppy. We love those a lot.

Literally. ;)

That's a lovely poppy! Today as it was fitting for this special day, My Mummy sprinkled lots of poppy seed in the garden as Dad and the boy planted some bulbs... With luck we'll have some big giant poppies to look at next year and they'll remind us of this Day! :)

Congratulations Henry. :)

It was a VERY big day over here in Australia, too. Remembrance Day is held very dear to us over here too.

Yao-lin, that's the prettiest poppy I have ever seen. Um, when you are done with it, can I have ti to play with?
