Tattle Tail Tuesday

Human: when you plug in the microphone and begin hollering to Madonna songs, you do not look or sound like a pop star. Do not entertain the idea of auditioning for the X Factor. You will become the laughing stock of the nation.

Your large behind does not make you Beyonce. Similarly, a microphone does not make you sound like Britney Spears.

Stop making those hideous sounds. This instant. It is really rather embarrassing.

Yours, covering my ears with my gorgeous velvety paws

HA, HA, HA....that is too funny! Oh, I can't stop laughing.

My Mum has been told too many times by EVERYONE around her that she is tone deaf, a horrible singer....so she doesn't even try to sing!

I can just see your human bopping around the house singing and you staring at her in utter embarassment! Poor Yao-lin, just how much are you supposed to endure?

Oh my. Your poor, handsome ears, Yao-Lin!

I totally sympathize. Mine has been banned from Karoke night. Happily, she is too technically challenged to figure out how to plug in a microphone.

We feel your pain. Our humans sing to us - all the time. They even make up songs about us and think we will fall all over ourselves with admiration. Don't think so!!

Oh Good Lord, I hear that!
You want something to put you off your food for a month? Get a load of ML watching Bonnie Raitt's "Road Tested" video, drunk.
It's one big fun ball of manic, depressive, delusional, psychotic and catatonic all rolled up into one appalling yak wad. Or as some whom we worship on your side of the pond might say: "one long trail of cat sick"!!

"I am an old woman
named after my mother..."

Shudder.

Oh how horrifying for your sensitive ears! I hear that Meowmy used to do stuff like that. Its a good thing she stopped or I'd have thrown her out on the curb. Well...if I had the strength to lift her booty.

Hahahahaha! You really must endure a lot, Yao-Lin. My Mommie's singing is so bad, she lip-synchs whenever there is a group "Happy Birthday" sing along.

Your human commuted from Delta to North Van! Yikes, that is quite the commute.

My Mum lived in the West End and worked on West 4th Ave.

We now live where my Mum grew up which is about 4 hours east of Vancouver.

Momma sings ok as long as she stays in her "range" and I like it when she sings to me. But daddy makes us both run for cover! ~Queen Snickers

A bite around the ears or neck can be a good send. Baring that a nip anywhere until the wailing stops is good. It's how I work.

Sometimes our beans love to torture us :(
It wouldn't be bad if they could sing......
I'm joining you in covering my ears!!

Oh that's so bad... Can't have too much noise or light when a cat's trying to have a restful nap!

Our mom sings to us too and we feel your pain Yao-lin. It seems a lot of moms like to sing even if most of them shouldn't.

Hee! I'm sure BabyBean could find some treats for you to help. :)

You know, my Dad tries that sometimes and I always think to myself "Please keep your day job Dad. You'll never make it in the entertainment world!"

Yao-lin! Yao-lin! I know!

Mine sings out loud with her student and she really can't sing!

They all sing the Chrisy Hinds song, I'm Special - which is really about me, and they sing it really loud at her school.

And Yao-lin, are you ready for a good one? Sometimes She plugs in the iPod to the big Smartboard projector and they dance around to The Macarena, and also to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go - by Wham!

Apparently this is a common phenomenon. Not that it ever happens here :-p
