I haven't been that lucky. My humans do not drink enough water so we have to drink from the bathroom faucet that drips.

When I do that my Mum hollers "No, no, no....." I just keep on drinking and pretend I can't hear her : ) If they don't want us to drink it they shouldn't put it out on display.
I follow that rule all the time, Yao-Lin. I don't even stop at water. Anything mommy drinks is fair game for me.
I think anything in your vicinity is actually yours, Yao-lin. Really.
Au and Target have their own water glass on the coffee table downstairs - plus water bowls in both bathrooms upstairs. Demand your own glass!

I have a big water jug in the kitchen that we drink water out of. I'd much rather have My Lady's water when she drinks it.
I agree with the Sammy! It is quite funny actually. I did that just the other night. I mean if they were silly enough to leave a cup with water still in it on top of the head board they deserved the dousing! ~Queen Snickers

So true. My human used to put a glass of water by the bed every night until she found out that I used to drink out of it as well. Now she has a bottle with a lid - NOT FAIR. FAZ
Oh dat's kinda like my rule on milk! Where there's a mug of milk unguarded it's mine! ;) I'z use dat rule for milky tea and coffee too... ;)

Only water? Doesn't the glass have 'Guiness' on it?
We used to drink from Mom's glass when she was sleeping. Then she got sneaky and brings a bottle of water to bed! How unfair. Every glass of water should be for you Yao-lin!
Yao-Lin, I live that rule too! Every evening when Mommy comes home she fixes a big glass of ice water for herself and I help myself to it! The silly straw gets in my way so I usually chews it and pulls it out. It doesn’t matter that she fixes a big bowl of ice water for me before and after work. Somehow the water with cubies in her glass is better!
