A Jewel in the Crown

So many adoring subjects, so little time to appreciate you all....

I have created this award for the sole purpose of recognizing those bloggers who are, quite literally, gems!

Take this award and pass it on to as many blogs as you see fit - you know, the ones who make you smile, laugh, even wince (on occasion!). If you know someone who is a diamond, a gem, a cubic zirconia in the rough then this award is for them!

Don't forget to include your reasons as to why you have bestowed this gift upon your chosen recipient - and link back to me for royal authenticity.

So, without further ado, I should very much like to acknowledge:

Princess Tara because she is royal and dignified and copes with a poo-smelling sibling.

Luxor because he is the epitomy of grace and style.

Anastasia because she shone brighter than most during her too short time in this world.

In hindsight, I should also like to award this to Cheysuli. A powerhouse in the world of politics, Chey is a fearless fighter in the unending campaign for Meezer World Domination.

Yao-Lin - Karl here - I had to stop by as soon as I hard. You made my eyes leaky again but that is o.k. Anastasia would surely have DEMANDED this award if she'd still be alive!
I will post about it after the cruise... Thank you dear friend!
Karl and Ruis says hello too!
P.S. How did you get the social rank thing???

To the Honorable and Highly Esteemed HRH Yao-Lin: we your humble servants, humbly suggest, on bended knee with bowed head, that you present this award to your royal and esteemed SELF... king of the kingdom, queen of the queendom and lord and master of all your survey.

What a lovely idea Yao-lin!

That is certainly a lovely crown. I have to admit, I am a bit miffed that I am not a recipient. I would have thought it was created with me in mind...

Hmm.. I guess I can accept this Yao-lin, but I might have to nap upon it. I AM after all a Meezer and not easily won back over after a slight.

Er, Yao-lin... this is Tigger here. I have started sleeping with my new little Siamese, she is 11 months old now and she looks so pretty. She never hisses at me and is fun to watch when she plays.

You deserve this beautiful new award. You are so beautiful. I love Siameses. :)

Oh my! To be recognized in such a way by one so royal as yourself - how honored I feel! Thank you ...

As soon as MomBean stops that infernal sneezing, I shall pass this lovely award onward ...

Oh Your Royal Highness, I am so honored! And like others, when I read that you bestowed this gift on Anastasia, I got all sentimental. Well, for a minute anyway. Then I remembered how much I deserved this.

I must think very hard on who to pass this esteemed award to!

Gonzo is too young to understand, but mine and People's eyes got leaky when we read that you've recognized Anastasia's brillance in this way.

Maggy and Zoey said the rest the best.

That's a beautiful award, from a beautiful cat (both inside and out), although that's nothing you don't already know. Thanks for stopping by our blog earlier, we appreciate your comments. I (Tasha) thank you very much for taking time out of your busy royal schedule (Tasha::blushes and turns away).

It's Gypsy here, I think she was just a little overwhelmed by your royal presence...

Wonderful. I think you selected the most royal kitties to receive this. We love that you gave it to dear Ana too.

I also agree with Maggie & Zoey, you should have presented this to yourself as well!

Dear Yao-Lin,

I have been following your advice closely. As you know, I recently confounded mine mombean by rejecting the new bed she offered. Your complement on my little handling of the affair is most kind and gracious! You can't imagine how much it means to me. I look forward to learning much more from you.

Respectfully,
Beezer
