Terrible news on Tuesday

Well, I imagine you have already heard. I know I have. Again, and again, and again, and again.

For those of you who don't follow, Baby Mao has his own blog. He seems to imagine that he has lots of 'friends'. He thinks his poo smell is endearing and his scrawniness is cute. Which one of you gave him these ideas?

Now, I know this isn't terrible news in the grand scheme of things and that far worse things can happen to a cat. But it isn't fair. First I had to share my home, then my food, then my bed, then my SLAVES and now MY COMPUTER.

I would give you all the silent treatment but I can't let one hindrance halt the message of my greatness.

So, onwards and upwards, my worthy cause will not be stopped!

Behold, His Royal Greatness:

Oh Yao-lin, you'll always be the Cat's Meow to us. Mao just has this endearing quality I can't put my paw on. He's just so earnest.
You are the smartest, regalist, handsomest kitty and your beans know that. It is a compliment to your greatness that Mao wants to be just like you with a blog.
Wouldn't you feel just a little sad for him if he didn't have anyone visit him???
Fantastic photo of you as always.

You're a great big brother Yao-lin! Sometimes we have to lower ourselves to make our siblings feel good about themselves. But you're the royalty of the house and Mao will never be able to come out of your shadow because he adores you so much.

Yao-lin, you look very royal in that photo! Do not worry, you will always be #1 cat, and baby Mao your disciple. It is actually very GOOD that baby Mao has his own blog, so now you do not have to share!!

Mr. Yao-lin, we still think your the greatest. Now you can blog all you want and not have to share. You'll always be the eldest and that makes you the Mancat of the house. You are so photogenic, too.
Your friends,
Samantha & Tigger

Yoo see Yao-lin, yoo are a mancat and know dat yoo are royal and a dignified cat. Poor Mao, he's just a young guy and needs to learn and part of dat is letting him talk to other cats. Besides, yoor royalty and can afford to be magna, megnina, magnon, er, good to him.

Yao-Lin, Yao-Lin, we finally got to watch that Dr Who scarecrows episode. We were so scared!!!! The scariest part was when the episode ended with "to be continued" at the most exciting part....we heard this horrible NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....!!

We all ran for cover!

Lovely photo, Yao-lin. :) Don't worry, Mao may be cute, but he doesn't have your regal look. Remember: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Psst....here is a ego boost for you, my baby sister Fiona has a crush on you! Opps, now she is growling at me.

Remember Yao-lin, the youngsters like to make themselves rather grandiose. Baby Mao is probably just doing this. You are supreme in your house...

don't be worried by Mao's blog Yao-Lin. He is young and feeling his way around. You are regal!

Why don't we try to put a positive spin on this, shall we?

1. Mao will no longer interfere with YOUR blog
2. Mao will no longer smell up your personal space
3. You can't be held responsible for anything he writes on his own blog
4. You can write secret messages to your friends and Mao won't see them

I'm sure if we put our heads together, we can think of several more good reasons, so try and calm down.
