Taste Test on Tuesday

Did you know that many Siamese cats have a penchant for human food? I am no exception..

I must, however, admit that this lemon cake did not quite cut the mustard. It wasn't home made and it was NOT served on Wedgwood china. What is a royal cat to do?

Cake does not sound that tasty but it was right of you to try it. Everything must be properly inspected.

Mmmmm, cake. We all like cake. Your servants should have served it on china for you. Sounds like more training is needed.

If the food offered does not meet your high standards, simply turn your nose up at it and walk away. That's what I do and then they have the nerve to call me "picky". I prefer to think of it as being "selective"

hmm not sure i would like that either yao-lin
i just want to say that i am little perturbed that you have had to resort to sleeping in flower pots, this is not an acceptable situation for a meezer - there are bugs and worms in flower pots! i hope you can get the Beans trained better in that respect xxx

Well first, I thought it was a slice of fake "American" cheese, which would be of supreme interest to Bianca. She is a simpleton.
And then I was immediately distracted by your FABULOUS collar.
I shall post mine soon. It's not the ideal collar for me, since it is black, but it does have reflective stars and moons on it.
Who am I kidding? We are just making do until Mosaic Lady can get her act together and find me a HOT neon collar to POP against my gorgeous furs.
What is the hold up, you ask me?
Surely the "getting her act together" aspect.
I know you know.

Let's start with "not home made"...not good, not the worst but home made is better. Then, lemon? wouldn't a nice butter or banana cake be better? And, no china! Sheesh, how do you tolerat this...

Yes, cake should be served to you on a plate, Yao-Lin. Have you ever tried pumpkin pie? It's reeeeaalllly good, a lot better than lemon cake. Tell the slave to get on it.

I could have told you that the lemon cake wasn't a good choice. How about tuna cake!

What do you mean they didn't give it to you on the good china?! And why wasn't it something you liked?

Well, I would suggest our typical royal meezer response: turn your nose up at it, then sit down and proceed to cry and cry until the cake is properly served on Wedgewood china and preferably have that cake taken away in favour of a nice handsomely big slice of cake. With a big dollop of chicken on top. ;)

I actually like baked goods pretty well, and usually demand some. Not sure about that one, though I might give it a lick.

But certainly not on the floor! No wonder you were disgusted!

You're right about Meezers loving human food, Mummy's old Meezer was a famous food thief! (Though not quite rivalling your Royal Highnesses standard I must admit). Though she stoll meat from a light BBQ as a kitten earning her name Barbie-Q, dived into a hot oven to get to a roast, fished meat out of a pot of boiling stew, ran off with half a pizza and someone's steak after they upset Mummy! But her all time fave was curry... Never once in all her years did she try lemon cake, which just goes to show how special you are and that your slave should do more to provide for you! ;)

Last Christmas we discovered that that gingerbread decorations on our tree were going missing. It turned out that my Black Oriental, Baggy, was eating them!! I even caught him on video and put it up on youtube!

Baggy eating gingerbread!

I shall hang them a little higher this year!!

I never tasted any cake before. Except I got a special birthday cake from Skeezix that was very delicious. If you do not like the cake, I think you should chew it up into little pieces and then spit it all out.

Who had the nerve to serve you store-bought cake? How rude!

Eeeek, is she now serving you off the cutting board?! I don't know how you put up with it Yao-lin! A cat of your status definately deserves china!

I was going to say something about the way it was served! I assume you did punish your humans for this negligence of putting the cake on a fine platter and decorate it nicely???
