Treat on Tuesday

The wonderful Ramses has chosen ME for this award. Not because I am sweet - I prefer to think of myself as ravaged by bitterness after a lifetime of hardship. No, this award has in fact been given to me because the ever astute Ramses acknowledges my dire need for sugar in the form of different food sources.

I should very much like to pass this award on to some genuinely sweet cats:

Bounce, Lucie and Trixie

Cheysuli

Tara

Now, I must be off, I have things to which I must attend - the human is trying to serve me boot leather (aka over cooked steak) for dinner. Disciplinary action is needed.

Ta ta for now

"Ravaged by bitterness..." Oh, Yao-Lin, you are a hoot! I mean, you poor thing, what a life of hardship you have endured.

Yao-Lin, your warm welcome meant so much to me, especially coming from such a charming and regal cat! It is easy to tell from the way you carry yourself in your pictures that you indeed come from a dictinct and noble lineage. I was moved by the tale of your sufferings. It sounds like your mommy . . . er . . . slave tries her best. Try to be patient, my new friend!

I do not think we have met you yet your highness...it is an honour to meet a real royal kitty!

For all the things you endure on an everyday basis you must really be a god! I am also unfortunately learning that the servants are hard to train, I sure wish you better service tonight!

Tamra

ha ha ha you poor dear. shoe leather is not proper food for a regal cat. i thought you'd already gotten the sweet award! i totally would have given it to you if i'd known you hadn't had it. after all, royalty is sweet.

Poor Yao-Lin! You have so many problems I don't know how you have the strength to go on.

I think you should refuse to eat the boot leather and insist she cook you a steak more to your liking. Tell her those curtains she loves so much and that you have only slightly damaged will be shreds by morning unless your demands are met, mwahaaaa....

I'm not sure I deserved such a sweet award any more than you Yao-lin--however it does put me on equal footing with Gemini who did get this award and was planning to lord it over me.

I am thinking of a "Snob and Loving It" award--what do you think?

The servant has just got to learn to cook...over done steak is not good! If we ever got steak it would definitly haf to be medium rare, if we ever got steak...sigh

Hey--I just thought of a funny trick. How 'bout you go find your old buddy Mr. Worm (or if you did end up killing him, maybe you can find a new Mr. Worm) and put it inside the candy apple for the woman? That would be a really funny trick/treat! And maybe it would assuage [Momma suggested that word] the bitterness for a while.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe

Dear Yao-lin, I'm speechless that you actually consider me sweet! That is very sweet of you ;-)

(I know there is a sweet side buried down in there, just like I have my aloof and snooty side)

Yao-lin, a post from you makes my day! I aspire to emulate you. But Tigger and Trixie laugh at me when I try.

Congratulations on your Sweet Treat, Yao-lin! Ravaged by bitterness? Say it ain't so!

Your Royal Highness, I'm so glad you had the candy apples to fall back on in time of hardship. Little did I know that hardship was to strike again so soon, or that your slave would think serving boot leather to one so grand was a fit thing to do...
